The NDAA provides the critical support our men and women in uniform need to carry out their missions,Daines stated.I'm glad the President has dropped his senseless veto threat and joined a bipartisan Congress in prioritizing the needs of our service members, while protecting the important role that Montana holds in our national defense. The Senate today once again passed the NDAA after President Obama vetoed the original bill onOctober 22, 2015. The NDAA provides much-needed support for Montana's military missions, including: $19.7 million for the Tactical Response Force Alert Facility at Malmstrom. $4.26 million for an energy conservation project at Malmstrom. Authorizes funding for AMP Increments I and II to ensure that our C-130s are able to stay in the air. Authorizes funding for C-130 engine modifications.
