The Blue Ribbon Schools award honors schools which have achieved high levels of performance or made significant improvements in closing the achievement gaps among student subgroups. U.S. Senators Mike Enzi, John Barrasso and Representative Cynthia Lummis, all R-Wyo., congratulated Spring Creek on its national recognition for their hard work, dedication to learning and innovative approach to education shared by schools across the state. The Department of Education will honor the 285 public and 50 private schools who won the award at a recognition ceremony on Nov. 9-10 in Washington, D.C. Each school will receive an award plaque and a flag as symbols of their accomplishments.
