Enzi: Trump Administration right to roll back Obama-era WOTUS rule Enziapplauded the Trump Administration for proposing a rule that would scale back the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule. The Obama-era Waters of the United States rule gave the Environmental Protection Agency power to regulate bodies of waters it should have never had control over, Enzi said. Wyo delegation asks President Trump to help Keystone XL Pipeline get completed Enzi, U.S. Senator John Barrasso and Congresswoman Liz Cheney, all R-Wyo., sent a letter to President Trump to urgeany immediate action necessary to move construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline forward. The letter, signed by 40 other members of Congress, asked Trump to take every practicable step to help get the project over the finish line. Enzi applauds ending regulation that halted construction of new coal power plants Enzi praised the Trump Administration for releasing a plan to roll back an Obama-era regulation which essentiall stopped new coal power plants from being constructed in the United States. "I am glad to see action is being taken to roll back one of the more outrageous regulations imposed. Coal plays a vital role in powering America due to its reliability as an energy source There are a lot of challenges that still face the coal industry, but thanks to the Trump Administration, this would be one less hurdle." The U.S. Department of Transportation announced a $20 million grant for an Interstate 80 winter freight improvement project in southeastern Wyoming.
