The bill cleared the Senate by a 75-22 vote today and will be sent to the president’s desk: “I came to Washington to fight for every community in our commonwealth. I am proud to have worked with my colleagues in the Pennsylvania delegation to fund our government responsibly and secure critical funding for projects across the state. “This bill will deliver vital investments across Pennsylvania, including for infrastructure, farmers, schools and universities, our servicemembers, local communities, and so much more,” said Senator Fetterman. “I am particularly proud that this bill fully funds SNAP and WIC with no new restrictions. I didn’t come to the Senate to take food from hungry kids and families, and I’ll keep up that fight.” Senator Fetterman personally secured $21,686,000 in funding for 19 projects in 15 counties across Pennsylvania and worked with Senator Casey and his colleagues in the House to secure nearly $100M for 77 projects across 42 counties.
