These federal funds will assist Mercer as it makes needed water system upgrades that will support the community’s needs well into the future.” Specifically, these federal funds will support the city of Mercer to connect to rural water, renovate the water storage building, replace the water storage tank and meters, and update the water distribution system. These federal funds are made available through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Water and Waste Water Disposal Loans and Grants program to give our state’s rural and agricultural communities the security they need. 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
