It also allows young people to witness the legislative process in a hands-on capacity, working side-by-side with my staff.” Cora Bollinger, Jared Gilmour, and Jessica Roscoe are interning in Senator Heitkamp’s Washington, D.C. office. Cora Bollinger is from Mapleton and graduated from West Fargo High School. She just completed her sophomore year at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She is majoring in political science and minoring in French and public health. New Rockford native Jessica Roscoe will be a senior at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., where she studies communication and global studies. Jessica recently studied abroad in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Jared Gilmour, from Fargo, will be a senior at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he studies journalism and English. In 2010 he graduated from Fargo North High School. Bismarck native William Woodworth is working in Senator Heitkamp’s Bismarck office. William will graduate with his Bachelor and Master of Public Administration degrees in May 2014 from the University of North Dakota. Bryce Hample interns in Senator Heitkamp’s Fargo office. He grew up on a farm in LaMoure and recently graduated from NDSU with a major in horticulture and agriculture production business. Michael Steve interns in Senator Heitkamp’s Dickinson office. A Dickinson native, he graduated from Dickinson High School in 2009. In spring 2013 he graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor in Accounting. Minot native Anna Jastrzembski interns in Senator Heitkamp’s Minot office. She is a senior pursuing a degree in comparative literature and theater arts at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. Hayley Hamilton interns in Senator Heitkamp’s office in Grand Forks. She is from Golden Valley, Minn., and is studying political science and international relations at the University of North Dakota. Senator Heitkamp’s office offers students internships in her state and D.C. offices during the summer, fall, and spring. Successful candidates will be those who demonstrate leadership, thoughtfulness, creativity, a strong attention to detail, and a sense of public service.
