I look forward to continuing to support infrastructure projects in Minot and throughout the state to support our rapid economic growth.” Because of the growth of economic development and commercial activity in the area, the bypass was needed to alleviate congestion from rail traffic which had forced many drivers – commercial and residential – to wait up to a half hour while trains were unloaded or rail traffic passed through. The bypass will make it possible for these new industries to successfully coexist with residents and other commercial businesses. And it will enable Minot to continue growing and create more jobs. ### | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
