Washington, D.C. Office Anna Diederich from Fargo – Anna is a graduate from Arizona State University where she studied business management with a concentration in international business and tourism. Beaumont Dixon from Charleston, S.C. – Beau will be attending Boston College next fall to study political science. Chris Griffin from Portland, O.R. – Chris is a third-year law student at Lewis and Clark Law School. Prior to law school, Chris worked in health care as a radiologist in the U.S. Air Force and within the Department of Veterans Affairs and received his M.D. from the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. Felicia Luccia from Scranton, P.A. – Felicia received her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Franklin & Marshall College and her PhD in chemistry from Tufts University. Tariro Makoni from Minot – Tariro is a junior at the Johns Hopkins University where she is pursuing a double major in sociology and international studies with a focus on global business. Virginia Hagerott from Annapolis, M.D. – Virginia attends the University of Maryland where she is studying environmental science. Fargo Office Kelsey Boe from Mylo – Kelsey is currently pursuing a marketing degree from North Dakota State University. Savanna Thielbar from Luverne, M.N. – Savanna is attending North Dakota State University where she is studying political science as well as women and gender studies. Grand Forks Office Roy Harr from Pittsburgh, P.A. – Roy earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and geography from the University of Pittsburgh. Heitkamp is offering internships in her North Dakota and Washington, D.C. offices and is currently seeking spring interns. Students interested in politics, government, the legislative process, and public service are encouraged to apply. Click here for details and the application.
