Children in Fargo and the TGU School District benefit from access to these programs and the federal funds announced today will continue that important investment.” The federal funds are distributed as follows: Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency in Fargo - $1,555,879. This continuation of federal funds will be used to support the birth – five year old program. Towner, Granville, Upham School District - $1,094,779. This continuation of federal funds will be used to support TGU’s Early Explorers program. Long an advocate for early childhood education, Heitkamp has been a staunch supporter of Head Start programs that help children get a solid education at a young age, setting them on paths to succeed.
