With the inclusion of this language in this NDAA report, our nations service men and women will feel safe while stationed at home. Nevada has a proud tradition of military service, and I will continue working hard protecting the brave men and women serving in our armed forces both at home and abroad. Background: Senator Heller has been adamant about protecting our nations service men and women by allowing them to carry a concealed personal firearm on base. The stand-alone legislation he introduced in the United States Senate can be found here. Senator Heller also wrote a letter in July to NDAA conferees urging the inclusion of his amendment into the final NDAA Conference Report. ### | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
