The agency made the reforms to provide more transparency, consistency and certainty in the CAA rulemaking process, with the goal of ensuring the agency's actions are justified and supported by the latest in economic, engineering, biological and physical sciences. These reforms align with our long-term efforts to provide regulatory relief that supports a growing economy and good jobs, said Hoeven.
