We need to get full-year funding bills in place, instead of continuing to rely on extensions, said Hoeven. Our colleagues across the aisle need to work with us to advance full-year bills instead of continuing to block full-year funding for our military and other priorities. In the meantime, this funding extension enables us to continue to provide vital assistance to our agriculture producers and includes a measure I supported to prevent the loss of highway funding. Hoeven worked to ensure the legislation supported continued trade and disaster assistance for agriculture producers and other priorities, including: Replenishing the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC), which ensures that trade assistance payments under the Market Facilitation Program (MFP) are not blocked or delayed. Preventing the rescission of $7.6 billion of unobligated federal highway funds under the FAST Act.
