During the week of September 17-20, 2018, the Office of U.S. Senator Doug Jones will host informational sessions across Alabama for constituents who are interested in applying for a nomination to one of the five U.S. military service academies. Senator Jones has the privilege of nominating young adults from Alabama to attend these prestigious institutions. Applicants must first apply to the academy of their choice and then secure a nomination from their U.S. Senator(s), U.S. Representative, and/or the Vice President in order to complete the admissions process. Additional details about the nomination process and eligibility requirements are available hereand the nomination application is available here. Interested applicants and their families are strongly encouraged to attend these sessions if they plan to seek a nomination from Senator Jones.
