The funding will boost efforts to support cleaner air, safer drinking water, and the redevelopment of hazardous waste sites. Protecting the health of our environment is vital to supporting Maine communities, ensuring the well-being of our citizens, and creating new economic development opportunities for Maine people,said Senators Collins and King in a joint statement.We welcome these significant investments in Maine's environment, which will yield immense health and economic benefits for people across our state.
