Levy, of Portland, to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine. Levy, who currently serves on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court, was nominated for the position by President Obama in mid-September. His contributions to the Maine legal community and the juvenile justice system would give him a valuable perspective as a federal judge.
