In his weekly address Senator King discussed: Passage of the 2013 Bipartisan Budget Act which sets a spending limit for the current fiscal year, provides partial relief from the sequester, maintains important deficit reductions, and provides the American people with the sense of economic predictability they deserve and need. His testimony at an open meeting of the Intelligence Committee during which he and other committee members listened to testimony from Ms. Caroline Krass, the President’s nominee to be General Counsel to the CIA. Comments made by Senator Collins and himself in support of Justice Jon Levy, of Portland, to serve on the U.S. District Court for the District of Maine.
