Senator Leahy enjoyed answering questions from students who are studying genocide, human rights, international law and foreign policy as well as students studying Spanish. Senator Leahy was very impressed with the students’ thoughtful questions and enjoyed hearing their insights on human rights abuses and genocide and how the United States can be a global leader. He also appreciated the students’ dedication to helping Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands rebuild after the recent hurricanes.
