It is not good for America. It is cruel, inhumane, and out of line with the civilized world – and their idea must be soundly rejected. “They want a national law that allows abortion on demand – anywhere, anytime, up until the moment of birth. They even want to use taxpayer dollars to pay for it. The Biden-Harris-Schumer proposal puts America in line with communist China and North Korea, where abortion is available until the moment of birth. “What I’m trying to do at the national level is create a national minimum standard of banning abortion at 15 weeks, when a baby can feel pain, with exceptions for rape, incest, and the life and physical health of the mother. States that have more protections for the unborn in place will not be affected. My proposal puts us in line with 47 out of 50 European countries that have abortion bans at 12 to 14 weeks.
