This will include managing an office in Everett and Bellingham. Responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing all office staff, representing the Congressman at local events, overseeing casework and community outreach, planning and executing events, and maintaining robust and effective communication with stakeholders, elected officials, and staff in the district and Washington, D.C. Deep understanding of the Second District and Washington state is expected. Management experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to public service; excellent oral and written communication skills; thoroughness and careful attention to detail; ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment; ability to work cooperatively and courteously with others in a fast-paced office; and knowledge of federal agencies and the political process. This position requires frequent travel throughout the district and flexible hours, including work on nights and weekends. Women, minorities and LGBTQ+ persons are encouraged to apply.
