The 85-bed facility is the newest location for Recovery Point West Virginia, a nonprofit that offers recovery services at no cost to people across the state. “Recovery Point is helping West Virginians achieve health and independence across our home state, and now Parkersburg is the latest community to be added to its network of recovery facilities,” Senator Manchin said. “I’d like to thank Matt Boggs and everyone with Recovery Point for their strong dedication to healing and new beginnings in West Virginia. This new facility will give hope and help to families in this region, and it gives optimism and inspiration to our entire state.” The Parkersburg program will provide men suffering from addiction with a long-term residential recovery opportunity, as well as the tools they need to remain committed to their recovery and transition successfully back into the community. Approximately 68 percent of Recovery Point graduates maintain recovery for at least one year after they complete the program. Funding for the Recovery Point Parkersburg facility was provided by the West Virginia Bureau of Behavioral Health and Health Facilities (WVBHHF), FHLBank Pittsburgh through local partner United Bank, The Bernard McDonough Foundation, and the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation. Funding to support the new program is provided by the WVBHHF and The Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation. ### Print Email Tweet Next Article Previous Article 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
