Community Care of West Virginia operates many health care centers in the state, including: Big Otter Health Clinic in Ivydale, Braxton Health Associates in Gassaway, Care Express and Pediatrics in Buckhannon, Community Care of Green Bank in Green Bank, Community Care of Marlinton in Marlinton, Little Meadow Health Center in Helvetia, Primary Care Systems in Clay, Tri-County Health Clinic in Rock Cave and West Milford Health Center in West Milford. “All West Virginia families deserve access to quality and reliable preventative and primary health care,” Senator Manchin said. “Community Care of West Virginia will be able to use this funding to make necessary upgrades and improvements in order to advance to health and wellbeing of all West Virginians.” “During my time in the Senate, providing affordable health care for all West Virginians has been a top priority,” said Rockefeller, Chairman of the Senate Finance Subcommittee on Health Care. “Access to preventive and primary health care is critical to the well-being of so many West Virginians, and our community health centers are a critical access point for that care. This much-needed funding will support Community Care of West Virginia and the important health services it provides.” The Health Center Cluster grant provides financial assistance to health centers that offer primary and preventive health care services to underserved or rural areas.
