U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, a former courtroom prosecutor of sex crimes and senior member of the Armed Services Committee released the following statement: “Pending the report’s public release tomorrow, assuming news accounts are correct—reporting of assaults being up and incidents of assault being down are exactly the combination we’re looking for.
