This is great news for our nation’s veterans who sacrificed to defend our country and our freedom and we remain deeply indebted to our heroes. This law will increase disability compensation for our veterans in an effort to help provide Kentucky’s veterans and their survivors with the support they deserve.” Most recently, Senator McConnell voted against a reduction in COLA benefits for military retirees that was authorized in the December 2013 budget agreement.
