As Congress fiddles, Puerto Rico burns; and it would be outrageous if Congress goes home for the holiday and leaves a brewing catastrophe for the 3.5 million American citizens of Puerto Rico who have fought for and died for this country. As Chair of the Senate Democratic Hispanic Task Force and the only Latino Democrat in the Senate, Menendez has been at theforefront of the fight to help confront the financial crisis in Puerto Rico.
