I’m proud to be joined by my colleagues in leading this bipartisan bill to finally give the President the authority he needs to enact his America First agenda and protect America’s industrial sector,” said Senator Bernie Moreno. “Keeping sensitive American land out of hands of our adversaries – like China, Iran, and North Korea – is a critical priority,” said Senator Elissa Slotkin. “While foreign investment in the U.S. can support economic development, it can also threaten our national security. To address that risk, this bipartisan bill builds on my work in the U.S. House and gives more authority to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. to examine a broader set of transactions.
