If we want a sustainable safety net and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, this bill is a must-pass.” The recent massive fraud scheme in Minnesota, which federal prosecutors estimate could reach $9 billion, demonstrates how severely oversight of the welfare system has failed.
