Today, as a senator, I continued to protect life at this fragile stage by voting for the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. I will always stand up for life,” said Dr. Paul. In October 2017, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the legislation by a vote of 237-189, and Dr. Paul is an original cosponsor of the Senate companion. Last year, Kentucky joined a growing list of states in passing similar legislation. In January 2017, Dr. Paul reintroduced his Life at Conception Act to declare “that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being.” The Life at Conception Act, which you can find HERE, does not amend or interpret the Constitution but simply relies on the 14th Amendment, which specifically authorizes Congress to enforce its provisions. ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-06-27T22:48:50Z
