Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.), introduced a resolution Monday honoring Army Reserve Major Lisa Jaster. Jaster, a Wisconsin native who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan, is the first Army Reserve woman and mother to graduate from the prestigious Army Ranger School. Jaster is now the third woman ever to graduate from Army Ranger School since the program was established in 1950. Sen. Johnsons resolution recognizes and honors Jasters impressive accomplishments and the role she will play in protecting and defending the American people. Major Jaster is an exceptional leader who makes Wisconsin and this nation proud, Sen. Johnson said. I admire her determination and deep commitment to serving with the finest among us. Today, I am pleased to be able to congratulate and honor Major Jaster on this historic achievement, and I look forward to her continued leadership in our armed forces. Im proud to honor Wisconsin native Major Lisa Jaster for her tremendous achievement in earning her Army Ranger tabs, Sen. Baldwin said.
