Bernie Sanders on Friday hosted a youth summit on climate change. Small teams of high school students laid out climate action plans for their high schools, WCAX-TV, WVNY-TV and WPTZ-TV reported. VIDEO, VIDEO, LINK Taxes The House rushed through a last-minute measure Wednesday to extend a massive package of expired tax breaks for banks, investment firms, commuters and NASCAR track owners. The bill would enable millions of businesses and individuals to claim the tax breaks on their 2014 returns. It would add nearly $42 billion to the budget deficit over the next decade. It's unclear when the bill will come before the Senate, but Sanders is not a fan. He told WCAX-TV that 65 percent of the credits go to businesses but credits for low-income families were not extended by the bill.
