The Hawai‘i State Veterans Cemetery currently serves more than 83,000 veterans and their eligible family members living within 75 miles of the cemetery. The grant will fund 1,099 pre-placed crypts, improvements to the existing maintenance wash rack structure, footings, oil separator and drainage system, turf seeding, and supporting infrastructure on approximately one acre of land.
