The bill is an amendment to the Veterans' Oral History Project Act, and will facilitate the collection of video and audio recordings of biographical histories by immediate familymembers of service memberswho died as a result of their service during a period of war. "We are eternally grateful for our brave service members who gave it their all on the battlefield, and paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can live in a safer and more secure country," said Scott. "Their stories should be told and preserved, so future generations can learn about their heroic and remarkable stories that have helped to write our history. Our country will never forget their service and unconditional love for our country. And thank you to our Gold Star Families, who stand in a class of their own, and whom we owe so much to. Your words will help bring alive the legacy of your loved one. Having two brothers who have served, I understand the many sacrifices our military families endure and we cannot thank you enough. Your resiliency and strength are truly inspiring." Related Issues: Print Email Tweet Next Article Previous Article | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
