The 20 different projects include investments to support the New Hampshire National Guard, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, first responders, infrastructure and much more. “For small states like New Hampshire, the Congressionally Directed Spending process levels the playing field and ensures that Granite Staters get their fair share of federal resources,” said Senator Shaheen. “These are real dollars that will go directly to projects that will help communities in our state get ahead whether it be increasing access to substance use disorder treatment, improving critical infrastructure, opening a new early education center or bolstering emergency services at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.” Senator Shaheen also included the following Congressionally Directed Spending projects for New Hampshire, totaling more than $46 million. ### 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T19:52:45Z
