There are drop off locations across New Hampshire for Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 24th, where the public can drop off old and unused prescription drugs to be safely disposed of. Individuals can find the nearest drop off location on theDEA's website. Drug Take Back Day is an important reminder that all Granite Staters can play a role in fighting the substance use disorder epidemic,said Shaheen. By cleaning out cabinets of old and unused prescription drugs and safely disposing of them, you're helping to protect your family, friends and community. I urge Granite Staters to find their drop-off location and get all unused and expired medications out of their homes. Drug Take Back Day is also an important reminder that drop off stations are available throughout the year in New Hampshire and I encourage everyone to make themselves aware of their nearest location. Together, we can prevent prescription drugs from falling into the wrong hands, protect those around us and make our communities safer and healthier.
