During the meeting, the Senator and Dr. Rouse discussed economic priorities for the new administration, including theSenator's efforts to reduce the growing crisis of long-term unemployment. As our country faces the unprecedented economic challenges brought on by the coronavirus pandemic,we need strong leadership and expertise to see us through. Dr. Cecilia Rouse fits this bill she is both extremely qualified and fully prepared to serve as the Chair of President-elect Biden's Council of Economic Advisors. During our call, Dr. Rouse and I discussed the huge challenges our nation faces and the need to accelerate job and wage growth and build a more inclusive economy with expanded opportunity for all.
