I will have questions about his record and positions on pressing issues facing the Department of Justice, particularly his willingness to defend the Department's investigationsincluding Bob Mueller'snow looking at the Trumps and Trump cronies. Barr's strange calls for the Department to investigate fringe conspiracy theories involving the Clintons raise questions, both about his partisanship and judgment. His confirmation will require close scrutiny in the Senate, and I look forward to getting answers in the coming weeks.
