In recent years, hospitals and other health care facilities in Indiana and across America have experienced a dramatic increase in cyberattacks. The Healthcare Cybersecurity Act would bolster the health care and public health sectors’ cybersecurity in light of these devastating cyberattacks. The bipartisan bill will take critical steps to strengthen cybersecurity infrastructure and better protect patients’ personal data. The bill passed the committee 10-1 and now heads to the full Senate for consideration. 1 2026-03-30T01:40:41Z 2026-04-06T18:41:32Z
