The resolution celebrates Coach Knight’s achievements during 29 years at Indiana University, including coaching 11 Big Ten Conference Championship teams, 24 teams to the NCAA tournament, and the last team to go undefeated and win the NCAA tournament during the 1975-76 season. “Some of my best memories growing up in an IU family were watching games with my Dad, from IU-Purdue nailbiters to Big Ten and NCAA title runs. Bob Knight was a basketball genius who made a tremendous impact on the players he coached, the IU community, and the entire state of Indiana.
