Rep. Rick Allen (R-Ga.-12) released the following statement in support: “While this legislation is far from perfect, a short-term CR ensures the government operates without a shutdown until April and funds immediate critical national security measures, like the fight against radical Islamic terror. This strategy will allow time for the next Congress and a new administration, under President-Elect Trump, to negotiate spending levels and move our country forward.
