This ruling is just the first in what I expect to be many cases where the courts will side with those of us in Congress who have been working to protect the Constitution and fight back against King Obama’s lawless actions.” Congressman Blackburn led the fight in the House this year to stop President Obama's executive amnesty. On August 1st the House approved H.R. 5272, legislation sponsored by Blackburn that would freeze the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program prohibiting federal funds or resources from being used to adjudicate new applications under DACA.
