This funding will help PPGMR expand and enhance its existing High Impact HIV Prevention program, as well as allow PPGMR to expand its outreach to the Spanish-speaking community. “Planned Parenthood Greater Memphis Region has been helping Memphis and Shelby County residents get the health care they need to lead happier, healthier lives for years,” said Congressman Cohen. “These new federal funds will help PPGMR proactively prevent the spread of HIV and protect Memphians from the debilitating effects of this deadly disease.” PPGMR is one of Tennessee’s oldest and largest private, non-profit health care agencies.
