Last night, Memphians turned out in force for the Sea of Blue passing through our city, honoring Officer Bolton. This morning, Officer Bolton was honored and remembered at Bellevue Baptist Church by his fellow officers, fellow Marines, and his friends for his service to our city and our nation. Sean Bolton served his country as a Marine in Iraq and he served his city as a police officer in Memphis, making the ultimate sacrifice for his fellow citizens. In giving his life to protect Memphis, Officer Bolton leaves a grieving mother, two sisters, a brother and countless other family members and friends who will always cherish his memory. He also leaves an appreciative community grateful for his dedication, his service and his bravery in the face of danger.
