Congressman DeFazio strongly supports Head Start programs such as Kids & Company of Linn County, which ensure that children get the support and resources they need to succeed in the classroom. “Study after study confirms just how important early childhood education, nutrition, healthcare and family support services are for our nation's youth,” DeFazio said. “I've had the opportunity to visit a number of Head Start programs and it's easy to see what a valuable difference they make in children's lives.
