"The award is nice. It's a nice recognition. And having a thank you from a U.S. Congressman is a big deal," Ackerman said. "But, at the end of the day, you know, when you're doing what you're doing, you're fighting for the guys that are alongside you and have the same beliefs that you have ... that's really what it means."
