In January, when Republican majorities are sworn-in in both the House and the Senate, Congress will be in the strongest possible position to block and defund the President’s Executive Order on immigration (a.k.a. – “Executive Amnesty”). We will also finally have the ability to make meaningful headway on the issues the American people sent us here to focus on, specifically to pass a budget AND appropriations bills, make sure our Veterans and military are taken care of…even allow Paul Ryan and the Ways & Means Committee to get true tax reform in place. Here’s a few things we accomplished that are worth writing home about: Wishing our elected leaders a productive, principled and fiscally responsible 2015. And, to the constituents of Wisconsin’s 7thCongressional District: Rachel, the kids and I wish you and your families a very blessed holiday season and a safe new year. Merry Christmas!
