In addition to passing a Continuing Resolution to fund the government through the end of the year, we also took a vote on the President’s plan to arm the Syrian rebels, and I introduced a bill that tackles an issue of concern for many Packers fans. Keep reading for a wrap-up of the week that was… I am not convinced: As I mentioned above, Congress passed a bill to move forward with the President’s plan to arm the “moderate” Syrian rebels. However, I could not vote in favor of this bill. To be clear, ISIS must be destroyed. However, this President has not convinced me, or my constituents, that his proposal will work. I have reservations about his ability to vet the Syrian rebels. And, he has not proven that he has the heart or desire to destroy these terrorists. I went on Fox’s “The O’Reilly Factor “ to further explain my vote. Click on the image below to watch:    GO PACC GO: In Wisconsin, football season means Packers season. However, some Wisconsinites may miss as many as 10 Packers games this season due to conflicting football schedules. This is an issue that many constituents have brought to my attention and, this week, with the help of the “Packer Staffer” (featured below), I introduced a bill that could be a game changer.   H.R. 5585, The Granting Our People Access to Channel Choice Act, or “GO PACC” will allow households to continue to access their current programming, but also give residents the choice to access Wisconsin news, weather and sports – including Packers games. This is a choice Wisconsinites deserve the opportunity to make. For more on this bill, click here. [hyperlink: http://duffy.house.gov/press-release/go-pacc-go ] Whether voting on foreign policy, or introducing a bill specific to Wisconsin, all of my legislative decisions stem from the comments and feedback that I receive from you. Over the next few weeks, I will be back in the state and I look forward to continuing those conversations and discussing new ideas for ways in which I may better represent you and Wisconsin’s 7th District. Until next week… Have a great week,      Sean 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
