The president’s repeated “go it alone” attitude flies in the face of the will of the American people. “There is no doubt our immigration system is broken, but the president’s efforts will do nothing to address our most pressing needs. House Republicans put forward a strategy based on three key principles: establishing a safe and secure border, enforcing immigration laws efficiently and effectively, and reforming our system in order to attract talented and hardworking individuals who are striving to make better lives for themselves.
