The President shut down tours when the sequester, which he proposed, went into effect. Americans have been unable to visit the home since March. The White House is still operating under the same funding levels as they were when the tours were cancelled. Individuals interested in visiting the White House should email tourrequests.md01@mail.house.gov or call 202-225-5311.
