These 62, soon to be American citizens, come from 30 different countries across the globe. Mondays celebration follows a naturalization ceremony that took place on Friday afternoon in which 60 people from 34 different countries became American citizens. The ceremony on Monday will begin at 1:00 PM and will be held in Room A on the upper floor of the library. In the span of four days, 122 people from 47 different nations will have taken the oath of citizenship to become Americans, said Congressman Huizenga. Making the choice to become an American is a historic moment and I look forward to celebrating this life-changing decision with these new citizens on Monday.
