The focus of the conversation was election integrity surrounding the results of the 2020 election and how West Michigan and our nation move forward. Joining Representative Huizenga on the call were Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons and Ottawa County Clerk Justin Roebuck. Audio of the town hall conversation is available here. In addition to participating by telephone, these town hall conversations are also streamed live at Huizenga.House.Gov/Live As mentioned during the town hall, earlier this week Congressman Huizenga joined Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons for a procedural audit and hand recount of a precinct in Wyoming. Wyoming is the largest city in the Second District. Following the audit, Congressman Huizenga did a Facebook Live video on election integrity and detailing the process. This video is embedded below. Lastly, during the town hall conversation, Congressman Huizenga encouraged residents to read the portion of the amicus brief pertaining to Michigan.
