This summer, Rep. Hultgren traveled to Israel with several Members of Congress. Read about his trip here. “While traveling throughout Israel, I saw how this tiny country faces existential threats every day from its neighbors who have called for its complete destruction. But anti-Jewish hatred plagues the world as numerous reports and news stories confirm that nations from North Africa to Latin America have seen increased incidents of anti-Semitism,” said Rep. Hultgren. “Israel is a stable democracy and staunch ally that shares our values in a region where instability and violence remain a way of life and where terrorist groups are a constant threat. We need to stand by Israel as it stands on the front lines defending the freedoms and ideals that we in the United States and the West hold dear. “Efforts to whitewash or rewrite the history about the Holocaust must be opposed in all their forms. Attacks or persecution of Jews everywhere must be opposed and prosecuted.
